ORGANIC MINED MINERALS™
"Select" ORGANIC MINERAL PRODUCTS
were created by nature and are now being processed
and blended in a manner which allows us to create an
organic soil conditioner - plant intensifier that
attracts multi millions of beneficial soil
micro-organisms which fundamentally change the soil.
Using humates, calcium and other select
ingredients (see below),
they are then prescription formulated
for use in horticultural, landscape, lawn and
garden, erosion / re-vegetation, agricultural, golf
courses and athletic fields.
ORGANIC MINED MINERALS™ products
are especially useful where water run off is a
concern, since humate is used in bioremediation of
toxic soils, it can be a real advantage in new site
preparation and maintenance and increases root
growth naturally, therefore helping nutrients and
water stay available to the plant and decreasing
potential for run off.
Humic acid,
the fundamental building block of
humates are metal mineral salts of
humic and fulvic acids. According to
Texas A&M Associate Professor Dr.
Robert E. Pettit,
humic substances restore ecological
balance in soils by providing
sustenance for beneficial organisms
like yeasts, algae, and
bacteria. Humates have been shown to
stimulate root growth, the uptake of
soil nutrients, and improves soil
structure to enhance moisture
retention in areas prone to dry or
drought conditions. In sum, it's
good stuff.
Humate-Select
humates consisting of biologically
active
Humic acids
and
Fulvic acids
are crucial to life on earth because
they provide a biochemical bridge
between mineral and living plant
matter. Humic and fulvic acid are
powerful chelaters thus help to
increase nutrient absorption.
Humic acids - the
fraction of humic substances
that is not soluble in water
under acidic conditions (pH < 2)
but is soluble at higher pH
values. They can be extracted
from soil by various reagents
and which is insoluble in dilute
acid. Humic acids are the major
extractable component of soil
humic substances. They are dark
brown to black in color.
Fulvic acids -
the fraction of humic substances
that is soluble in water under
all pH conditions. They remains
in solution after removal of
humic acid by acidification.
Fulvic acids are light yellow to
yellow-brown in color.

Organic Mined
Minerals Humate-Select
contain
humic and fulvic acids. Extensive
research conducted by many research
groups have shown that fulvic acid
stimulates oxygen uptake and
increases chlorophyll content. Humic
acid occurs to some extent in the
soil as an end product of decomposed
organic matter. These acids play a
very important role in the movement
of macro- and micronutrients within
the plant and their availability to
the plant. The availability of these
nutrients are essential for
maximizing crop performance.
Because of its strong chelating
ability, Humate-Select
is able to bond otherwise
unavailable micronutrients from
their salt forms and make them
available to plant roots. The
ability to separate and release
essential nutrients and immediately
chelate them makes this
Humate-Select an exceptional
substitute for the more expensive
EDTA solutions, producing 99+%
chelated cation bulk mixes at a
fraction of the cost.
The addition of humic and fulvic
acids to your fertility program will
have a beneficial effect on
microbial populations by providing
the essential carbon source.
Stimulated, active microbial
populations have a direct effect on
production, disease suppression and
nutrient recycling. Humate-Select is also
formulated into liquid products and
blended with other dry product
formulations.

Humate-Select humates consisting
of biologically active fulvic acids and
humic acids are crucial to life on earth
because they provide a biochemical bridge
between mineral and living plant matter.
Humic and fulvic acid are powerful chelaters
thus help to increase nutrient absorption.
It has been found as plant matter decomposes,
it first forms peat that turns to
humate then lignite and then eventually
to coal. Because humate was once a living
organism the properties are rapidly absorbed
in the today's plants. The result, of
course, is a beautiful lawn, shrubs,
flowers, fruit and vegetables crops grown
naturally.

micro/macro nutrients into a more
available form for plant use; helps
develop deep root systems; provides fuel
for microbial activity; improves plant's
health and ability to resist disease,
etc.
Brings depleted soils back to life,
and contains the high energy
biological components that reduce
nitrate and phosphate inputs and
costs for increased stability to
crops.
Makes available nutrients that are
lost to the plant or bound in the
soil.
Very cost effective and proven to
build strong and healthy turf,
crops, gardens, golf courses,
nurseries, fruit, plants, and all
green areas.
Organic Peat Soil
Conditioner
is organic matter
that has a positive effect on the
physical, chemical, and biological
reactions of the soil leading to an
increase in soil fertility. Peat is
comprised of Humic Acid and Fulvic
Acid, which are proven to promote
root strength and develop beneficial
microbial activity. Simply, Peat and
Humate helps release beneficial
nutrients like Nitrogen, Iron,
Potassium, etc. that are abundant in
the soil but are not available for
the plant to uptake. The biggest
visual result seen after a Humate
application is the grass turns a
deep green color without promoting
faster top-growth.

spells lush and
greener growth.
ORGANIC MINED MINERALS™Sea Bed Cal-Phos
also stimulates
strong root formation, hastens crop
maturity and encourages earthworms
and soil bacteria. Since phosphorus
is lacking in most soils, additional
applications are a must for maximum
results, however when it is combined
with our other organic products it
increases the nutrient movement.

In this age of the atom, it should
not be hard for us to visualize our
soil as matter made up of millions
upon millions of atoms of different
elements such as phosphorus,
calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium,
potassium, etc. Thus, we can speak
and think as do the scientists of
atoms of plant food, just as we do
of pounds of plant food and soil
conditioners, The only difference is
in the quantity, quality and the
particle size.
An atom
which bears an electrical charge,
either positive or negative, is
called an ion. The swapping, or
exchanging, between the soil and the
plant root, of ions of plant food in
the soil for ions of hydrogen (acid)
given off by the plant's root, is
called ionic exchange and it is
through this exchange that insoluble
elements, such as the phosphorus in
our
Sea Bed
Cal-Phos(*Paleozoric rock
phosphate)
, are made
available as food to plants.

Bentonite - Montmorillonite is a
so-called triple-layer clay mineral.
Because of their disc-shaped crystal
structure these triple-layer clay
minerals have a very high specific
surface (600-800m2/gram)
with the ability to store water
molecules
and nutrients
ions on their surface.
A soil's ability to retain water
(particularly in sandy soil and
especially with strong solar
radiation) significantly increases
when a triple-layer clay mineral is
added, so the water stored in the
soil is available to the plants over
a longer period of time. Another
important characteristic of these
clay minerals is their high capacity
for ion exchange. So-called "crystal
mistakes" cause the clay minerals to
be negatively charged, which is why
they can bind nutrient ions such as
potassium, ammonia, calcium and
magnesium, this product
(Bentonite / Montmorillonite-Select)
can be used as a binder and, or
nutrient supplement in most all
products where a binder is required.
As a specialty of this process it
has been discovered that the
nutrients are largely protected
against being washed out, but can be
absorbed by the plants. If you

plays in our product lines.

EXPANDED
SHALE,
TruGro®
expanded shale
soil amendment
has certain
chemical and physical properties
that make it an excellent plant
growing media. Its primary function
is to provide physical strength and
resistance to deformation.
TruGro®
is chemically
inert and completely inorganic. As a
result, it will not compress,
decompose or react with other
agricultural or horticultural
chemicals. It will not sink or float
out of a blended medium, meaning it
can provide superior aeration when
used in soil mixes, especially if
compaction is required. Unlike
gravel and sand, expanded shale is
able to absorb and release water and
nutrients, which may increase the
nutrient protection capacity of a
highly porous growing medium.
TruGro®
is only 1/3 to
1/2 the weight of regular rock or
sand making it easier to transport
and install, but it is heavy
enough to resist being washed
or blown away under
normal weather conditions.
If you till expanded shale and
compost into clay soil, then mulch,
you should never need to add
commercial fertilizer. As fully
finished mulch breaks down, it acts
as a slow-release fertilizer.
The mulch will gradually break down
and work its way into the soil. A
year after preparing the bed, lay
enough mulch on top to bring the
mulch layer up to 3 inches. In
subsequent years, the mulch breaks
down faster, and you will add mulch
in spring and fall to bring the
mulch depth to 3 inches. After this
very little compost or commercial
fertilizer, will ever be necessary.
SOIL is not an organism by
itself, but it has rich and manifold life in it. Organic
nutrients encourage this life, animals, microorganisms,
plant roots, (the back to nature concept) by promoting good
soil structure and providing a wide variety of easily
assimilated organic nutrients. Remember, healthy soil
produces healthy plants, human, animal, and all living
elements!
